On Friday 29th June 2012 the Olympic Torch will be travelling by cable car to the The Heights of Abraham. To commemorate this event, The Heights of Abraham has commissioned local artist Tess Willoughby to design a mural that will stand as a legacy to this exciting honour. Working alongside her will be six students from the 6th Form of Highfield School, Matlock Bath, Derbyshire.
Within the main mural, Tess has created six large frames in which the chosen designs will be painted. Each frame must depict the Olympics and have a strong and easily recognisable Olympic scene. The Heights of Abraham asks that the Cable Cars might be included in any depictions of the Olympic Torch's 2012 journey.
